Publishing scientific articles has become a compulsory duty for PhD students, but it still represents a challenge for most of them. The
topic haunts discussions among doctoral students, who lack relevant information as well as the knowledge and experience necessary to develop
a wise publishing strategy.

STRIGES is organising a workshop on how to publish in gender and sexuality studies journals on Friday 17 February 2017. This event aims
at explaining the publication process and at answering the many questions PhD students might have on this topic.

Speakers from the editorial boards of French- and English speaking
journals are invited. They will present their editorial policy and discuss recent developments in the world of scientific publishing.
